The Runaways movie...

was seriously awesome. It made me want to go bang a gong and get it on, and spit on a car or something.
That was the whole point, right? Movie mission accomplished.
Anyways the NY chapter of Teen Suicide is taking over the Underscore Quarterly blog dis week.

I saw the movie with Stewart and Rian last night alongside Sydney and Ashley (RosenMunns) and this is the first thing that they posted on the blog! Memories from last night, yayayayayay.

Thanks to everyone who came out to Silent Barn the other night, twas fun. Super good turnout, and talents, I spent most of my time in the front of the space away from all the bands along with Milano from Medium Rare, but we could hear everything from the show and we were in good company;)
Oh and I had my first bag of Cheese Doodles, which were very good, with even better packaging.



(plus you can buy a 30-pack from amazon.com, the back of the bag is where the good packing is, but here's a pic of the front... wow so interesting, glad I'm sharing this with u)

_ Quarterly : Sea Issue 4

The new _ Quarterly was just added to the site today, it looks beautiful!

Grab a copy in the store, or come to the release party on Saturday at Silent Barn in Ridgewood (in Queens) doors are at 7pm, bands and readings by Chelsea Hodson are at 8pm! Don't forget we will have a table set-up too, so bring some extra dough, k? kewl!

Happy New Year!

OMG I haven't posted in daze!!! How was everyone's New Year? Mine was good, I fell down some stairs (total bruises!) I was in California for three weeks, and miss Jessica Darakjian took care of shipping! What a gal! She also had her 21st birthday! Damn she's young!
While I was in California I had the honor of cracking my Macbook screen, which is such a dream, I'll fix it soon though. I also managed to get my grandpa's truck broken into, such luck.
All is well now, I'm back in the big apple and I'm organizing the store's inventory.
